Hatice Öz completed her undergraduate education (in English) at TED University's Department of Architecture in 2019. She completed her master's degree in Architecture at Gazi University in 2025, focusing on "Adaptive Reuse," and is currently pursuing her doctorate at the same university. Her academic research focuses on adaptive reuse, rural architecture, cultural heritage conservation, architectural design, and interior design. She has conducted applied field research documenting Ottoman-era religious and educational buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina, participating in the measurement, survey, photographic recording, and architectural analysis of the structures. She has presented papers at national and international congresses and contributed to articles on adaptive reuse and rural heritage. Since 2024, she has been working as a research assistant in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at OSTİM Technical University.
