1. To Produce Qualified Graduates

Our primary goal is to educate graduates in the field of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design who are creative, analytical thinkers, capable of combining aesthetic and technical knowledge, and possessing an interdisciplinary perspective, all in line with the needs of the modern age. We aim for our students to graduate not only with expertise in design but also as well-rounded individuals in professional ethics, communication skills, project management, and sustainability.

2. To Improve the Quality of Academic and Applied Education

In addition to the current curriculum, our educational programs aim to enhance our students' professional knowledge and skills through studio classes, workshops, technical trips, and field applications. We aim to enrich the educational process by continuously updating digital design tools, modeling software, and technological infrastructure. In this regard, students are provided with experiential areas where they can express their individual creativity.

3. Developing University-Industry Collaboration

Within the framework of a new generation of educational approaches, the goal is to create an environment where students can have direct contact with the industry. Through joint projects, seminars, workshops, and internship programs with industry representatives, students are supported in gaining practical experience. In this context, strong ties with the business world will be established, increasing employment opportunities for graduates.

4. Encouraging Research and Design-Oriented Production

As a department, we encourage the development of academic knowledge production and design-oriented thinking. Scientific research, creative design projects, and interdisciplinary collaborations conducted with the participation of students and academics are supported. Encouraging participation in national and international design competitions is an important step in enabling students to gain visibility in the industry.

5. Ensuring Internationalization

With an educational approach that values global knowledge sharing and cultural diversity, active participation in international exchange programs (Erasmus+, Mevlana, etc.) is supported. Students and academics are encouraged to gain experience in different educational and cultural environments; and the global recognition of our department is increased through efforts towards international accreditations.

6. Sustainability and Social Contribution

We aim to cultivate designers who are driven by sustainability, environmental awareness, and social responsibility. Encouraging designs that benefit society, preserve cultural heritage, are environmentally conscious, and user-focused is among our priorities. Furthermore, social responsibility projects support our students in connecting with the community and developing sensitive design approaches.
