Berru İzel Gökgöz completed her undergraduate education at the Department of Architecture at Necmettin Erbakan University and completed her master's degree at the Department of Architecture at Gazi University, where she is currently pursuing her doctoral studies. Throughout her academic career, she has focused on safety and durability in architectural design. She specializes in blast design, earthquake-resistant structures, and urban safety. In her work, she develops solution-oriented approaches by adapting various multi-criteria decision-making methods to architecture and building safety problems. While contributing to these fields through her published articles, she also emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary methods in architecture education.
